When a domain registered with KT is 60 days from expiring, you will begin to receive renewal notices when your domain will expire in 60 days, 45 days and 30 days.
All you need to do is acknowledge the renewal and make payment.
At any point you can manually choose to renew your domain name via the control center.
Renewal fees can be found here : http://www.ktdomains.co.uk/pricing.htm
You will not be able to renew a domain if it is expired for more than 40 days. You can contact support for further assistance.
For New Customers please proceed to our renewal/transfer tool found here : http://www.ktdomains.co.uk/renewals.htm

Yes, regardless of where you originally registered your
domain name, you can renew it with us..
All you have to do is to use our "renewal/transfer tool", and make a simple transfer request.
You will be required to answer a simple confirmation email sent to the "admin contact" listed on your domains contact info.
This ensures that you are indeed the owner of the domain name.

Q3:)
How long does it take to transfer here?
|
A:)
|
The transfer process is not an instant process.
It requires an average of 5-8 days to complete if done correctly.
Thus, it is very important for you to renew as early as possible, or you risk losing your chance to transfer and renew you domain here.
We can not transfer and renew domain names that are about to expire within 20 days or less.

What are the requirements for transferring?
|
A:)
|
You cannot renew/transfer a domain if :
1. The domain has already been (registered or transferred)
less than 60 days ago with another registration company.
2. Your previous registrar has the name locked for either
non-payment, or at your request.
3. The domain has already passed its expiration date
or is about to expire within 20 days.
4. You do not have access to the registered Admin Contact E-mail
for your domain, or the person listed on your domain's
Admin Contact email doesn't approve the transfer within 5 days
after initial transfer request.

Q5:)
How will I know if my transfer is complete?
|
A:)
|
Do a whois lookup on your domain to see the new record.
This can be done from our home page or by logging into the control center found at : https://control.ktdomains.co.uk/
You should see 1 addional year added to your expiration date.
Note: It is your responsibility to check your domain's record
and to make sure the transfer / renewal is completed.
You
can do this by using "Whois Lookup."
Also most domain companies will give you a 60 day grace period after the domain name has expired to renew domains before finally deleting it from the database if not renewed.

Q6:)
Can I renew my domain even though it has already expired?
|
A:)
|
You will have a 60 day grace period after the domain expires.
During the grace period, you can still renew the domain, but you cannot transfer it.
If you do not renew the domain within the 60 day grace period, the domain will be sent to the central registry to delete.
It will take up to 48 hours to propagate your domain information to the Internet WHOIS if you renew your domain AFTER it expires. You are well advised to renew your domain at least 20 days BEFORE it expires.

Please be patient!

Q8:)
When I renew my domain, will it expire one year from the renewal date or the original purchase date?
|
A:)
|
It will expire one year from the original purchase date.
For example, if you purchased a domain on May 20, 2001 for two years, and then renewed the domain for another 2 years on April 11, 2002. Your domain expiration date will become May 20, 2005.

|
A:)

We send out a renewal notice to the domain owner at 60, 45, 30, 15 and 7 days before a domain expires.
We also send one the seventh day after expiration if the owner does not renew the domain.
You should not miss the renewal.
You will have a 60 day grace period after the domain expires.
During the grace period, you can still renew the domain, but you cannot transfer it.
If you do not renew the domain within the 60 day grace period, the domain will be sent to the central registry to delete.
