It is a name that is easily memorised, or recalled.
Ideally the shorter it is, the better.
The name should reflect what your company does or your trading name.
It should look professional.

The new long format allows for a minimum of 2 characters up to 63 characters plus the extension.
Valid characters are (a-z) and (0-9) and the dash (-) as long as it is contained with in the other characters. It can not be a leading or trailing character.

Yes, Most definately!
.com is very much the favourite. However if you are based in the U.K. I would opt for the .co.uk for use every time, but I would always be sure to register and park the .com and .net (If essential).

*New - Add domains that you are interested in to a watch list. (When the domain is due to expire you will receive a series of email reminders.)
